However, it can be a traumatic experience for the child if the situation is handled incorrectly. That's why Gingerbread House Children's Advocacy Center partners with local law enforcement in Shreveport, LA to conduct forensic interviews with any involved children.

A child abuse forensic interview needs to be done cautiously. Partner with us today to further your investigation the right way.

How does the process work?

How does the process work?

It's our job to protect children during legal investigations. When law enforcement calls on us for help, we will...

  • Meet with the detective to go over the details of the investigation
  • Conduct forensic interviews with any children involved
  • Provide the district attorney with any gathered information
All of our interviews are coordinated, tracked and reviewed by our multidisciplinary team (MDT). In cases of trafficking and child abuse, forensic interviews can mean the difference between justice and injustice. Contact us today for more information.
