Pedro LaTorre is a dynamic speaker, consultant, and coach who has spent his life inspiring individuals and teams to thrive. His journey began on the baseball diamond, where he dreamed of a professional career and had won the attention of several professional baseball scouts. However, a career-ending injury in high school forced Pedro to redefine his purpose. Growing up in a broken home and navigating childhood trauma taught him how to adapt, pivot, and evolve and has shaped his ability to help others lead their lives with authenticity, overcoming life’s challenges and stepping into clarity and impact.
At just 17, Pedro began speaking professionally under the mentorship of world-renowned communicator Reggie Dabbs. Over the years, he has become known for his ability to connect with diverse audiences through authentic storytelling and actionable insights.
In addition to his speaking engagements, Pedro is the creator of Purpose Academy, a transformative program designed to help companies cultivate deeper purpose and meaning both in and out of the office.
Pedro is the author of The Middle Seat: Stop Craving Platforms, Start Loving People, a book that challenges readers to lead with humility and service. He is currently set to release his second book titled, Measuring Meaning in The Digital Age, which aims to help individuals live purpose-driven lives in a fast-paced world.
Pedro’s faith and values continue to be a cornerstone of his work. Through his consulting company, Brave Work, Pedro has helped raise a combined $300 million in recurring revenue for organizations like charity:water and Compassion International.
Pedro lives in Nashville, TN, with his wife of 15 years, Jessica, and their two children. Together, they have built a legacy rooted in love, resilience, and service. Whether on stage or in a personal conversation, Pedro’s mission is to equip people with the tools they need to lead lives of purpose and impact.
